I find my work in the balance of ritual and ridiculous. Places that have stopped pretending. Landscapes whose scars define the communities inhabiting them. People whose stewardship is itself an acknowledgment that impermanence is the truth, and tending to it still matters. Looking closely reveals there is less distance between the sacred and the absurd. I document these stories knowing my actions lie inside the loss.

My production experience spans the full range, from producing and directing to editing and color, but my favorite place to be is behind the camera. I work best with small, nimble crews who know how to move fast without sacrificing craft. The subjects I gravitate toward are real people with lived experience, not talent hired to perform authenticity. For me, the work has to mean something: story driven, grounded in place, and made to resonate.
